The Congress will see you next at The Chicago Folk and Roots Fest - Chicago's best summer festival! We play with trumpet... dancers... and full band on Saturday July 11th at 8pm.
YOU'RE INVITED to jam with the Voice of the People Ensemble at this years Folk and Roots Festival. All players, hand clappers, singers, bagpipe players welcome!
Voice of the People is on the Gazebo stage on Saturday July 11th from 2-2:50pm. It's in Welles Park at Wilson and Lincoln.
Just show up then, or join us the night before to play through the tunes. We'll meet at 6:45pm on Friday July 10 at Old Town (4544 N Lincoln) and play until 8:15 or so.
